The Process

A look inside the UK workshop located in the heart of the saddle-making capital.

The hand crafted aspect is so important to us at Aviar. Hand-made products show the power of the human soul and its impulse to create. When you support artisan-made pieces, you also support the craft skill they practice. The technique used in production at Aviar is a juxtaposition between skilled artisan and innovative modern technology. For example, traditional methods of stitching mixed with laser engraving.

All of our saddles are made in the UK, at the heart of the saddle making capital—Aldridge, Walsall. This area is rich with experienced saddle-makers and leather-workers, who take much pride in handing down their craft to younger generations. Our UK workshop reflects the Aviar saddle. Heritage and experience meets the future and innovation. This ethos carries on throughout the whole process.
